Creative Director

The primary function of this position is to oversee all creative projects and staff, and to be responsible for the overall creative and production quality of work produced by the creative department.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor creative team as well as the project manager and customer service supervision.
• Responsible for creative projects from conceptual through completion.
• Meeting with clients; developing a relationship with customers; helping them solve their creative needs.
• Must work collaboratively across the organization.
• Participate in defining processes and procedures, and champion process improvement issues.
• Issues reports and data to management as required.
• Scheduling and tracking of creative staff assignments and time.

Education and/or experience: 5-10 years of experience in designing and developing with rich media content. A degree in graphic design or equivalent experience preferred.

Required Skills:

• Experience in Print; Web and Multimedia.
• Experience with Flash; Photoshop; Illustrator.
• A genuine desire to inspire others and an ability to do so.
• A sense of diplomacy and the ability to remain cool under fire.
• Excellent communication skills - written and oral; and the ability to speak from an informed, authoritative and professional perspective.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• The ability to judge creative within the context of fulfilling customer objectives and needs.
• An eye for detail and the ability to interpret information – both verbal and written.
• The ability to multitask and cope with the competing requirements of numerous projects, operating within different timeframes and with various levels of complexity and creative input.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure; ability to prioritize tasks.

Physical demands: Required to report to work punctually as scheduled and to work all scheduled hours and any required overtime.

Work environment: Typical office environment.

Required training: All required training is determined by the department supervisor and/or manager.

Account Manager

Digital Lagoon is the Midwest leading multimedia company looking for an experienced Account Manager. Digital Lagoon assists companies and organizations with improving their communications and expanding their reach through effective use of the Internet and other emerging technologies. We are a full-service interactive company offering expertise in the areas of web strategy, web design, web programming, online advertising, multimedia production including interactive DVD and video production. Understanding of large format printing is also beneficial.

• Intermediate to advanced level of understanding of web and multimedia technology
• Responsible for driving new business sales process and identifying and defining new sales opportunities.
• Account Manager to cultivate business and build relationships by cold-calling, networking and using contacts
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
• Individual must have 3-5 years of outside sales experience preferred
• Should have a successful sales history, enjoy working with people and technology.
• Ambitious, willing to learn, organized and precise
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and the internet.
