National Beef faced the challenge of how to differentiate itself in a commodity-based business. This Business-to-Business Web site needed to market value-added services, to integrate an e-Business initiative as well as meet the needs and demands of dominant, e-enabled customers. In order to meet these requirements, Digital Lagoon developed online customer relationship management tools including a secure order-tracking system and product locator. With one-click access and online data management tools that tie into National Beef's existing databases, less site management time is required by the client and more accurate, up-to-date information is available on the Web site, creating benefits for both the client and the end-user. |
