Preferred File Resolution

Inca prints: 100 dpi at final size
Epson prints: 300 dpi at final size

Acceptable File Formats

*Composite PDF (complete PDF with images and fonts embedded). Additional PDF requirements:

• File must be correct page size
• Use PostScript Type 1 fonts if possible (avoid any True Type fonts)
• Do not use electronic font modification (i.e. bold, italic, shadowed, etc.)
• Scan images in correct resolution (take scaling into account)
• Crop all images in an image editor
• Do not use hairlines
• Do not build frames using four lines - draw them using the frame tool
• Delete blank pages and any unnecessary elements
• Define any page bleeds

Acceptable File/Disk Prep Checklist

1. Include all images, files and PostScript screen and printer fonts.
2. Adobe Photoshop files in EPS or TIF, binary, single-file format.
3. HiRes images must be saved in CMYK, bitmap grayscale or RGB (not indexed color).
4. Custom colors and PMS colors must be specified in application color palettes.
5. Delete any unused/unwanted colors.
6. Do not use "hairline" rules, use .25 pt.
7. Bleed any necessary pages with customary 1/8" bleeds.
8. Enclose a 100% black & white laser hard copy of each document (both sides when appropriate).
9. Enclose a copy of the disk directory.
