For example, this web site consists of more than 50 separate pages including hundreds of images and numerous video and animation files. And that's just the public part of the Web site. Digital Lagoon follows a thorough design strategy in six phases. This ensures that we deliver a fully functioning site that meets and exceeds the needs of our client.

• Discovery: Using a collaborative approach with the client, Digital Lagoon facilitates a series of strategic work sessions designed to gather pertinent data about the company's marketing strategies, user provisions, and business requirements. We then use this information to develop a complete interactive design strategy that addresses the needs of the target audience.

• Pre-Production: During pre-production, both functional and graphic mock-up applications are developed to determine content placement and basic navigation. The purpose of the mock-ups is to finalize all layouts, content and design decisions before programming begins. This is done to ensure that the development strategies accurately represent how the users will actually interact with the site.

• Production: All production design and programming work takes place during the production phase. Working from mock-ups that have been correctly defined and approved allows for an efficient, focused period under which the main application can be assembled.

• Content Testing: Content testing allows for any final issues to be determined before completion of the project. A period of time will be defined for client approvals and final changes to be submitted for the site.

• Beta (Bug) Testing: Potentially the most important part of the process, Beta Testing assures that the application runs properly according to the project's original specifications, including operation within a variety of Internet browsers and platforms. Digital Lagoon will test the application on multiple machines and operating systems.

• Implementation/Deployment/User Training: Upon completion, Digital Lagoon will deploy the Web site in the appropriate specified format and ensure the site is operating correctly.
